Question 1

What should I do first when I discover water damage?

Accepted Answer

Make sure people are safe. If it's safe, shut off the source of water and turn off electricity to affected areas. Move valuables away from wet areas. Then request a professional assessment so the full extent of the water — including what you can't see — can be mapped and addressed.

Question 2

How long does water damage restoration take?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the extent of the damage. Extraction may take hours, while structural drying typically takes several days of monitored dehumidification. We measure moisture content throughout and only consider drying complete when affected materials reach their target moisture levels.

Question 3

Do you provide estimates or pricing?

Accepted Answer

No. This site does not provide pricing, estimates, or quotes over the phone or web. After we review your situation, we'll follow up to discuss next steps.

Question 4

What areas do you serve?

Accepted Answer

We serve Jonesboro and the Craighead County region, including Brookland, Bono, Bay, Lake City, and Monette. Each community has its own service-area page.

Question 5

Do you work with insurance?

Accepted Answer

We document the scope of work so you have a clear record. How that fits with your insurance is between you and your insurer; we're happy to provide the documentation they may ask for.

Question 6

What's the difference between water damage and flood damage?

Accepted Answer

Water damage usually refers to water from inside the home's plumbing — a burst pipe or appliance leak. Flood damage refers to water from outside — storm runoff or overflowing drainage. Flood water often carries contaminants, so the cleanup is more involved.
